Tom came into the little bar I worked at in Clearwater, FL, which was next to his hotel. We sat and talked for about 10 mins and I told him how I'd always loved his movies, although most of the names went out of my head from the shock of meeting him! I complimented his performance in LAST RITES and he was surprised and said 'I thought nobody noticed that one.' Also he mentioned it twice after that lol. He also mentioned that he was in town for business and headed to Miami area to look at locations for the movie CUTAWAY. He was interested when I mentioned that COCOON was filmed nearby and asked some questions about it. FYI: Tom has absolutely the most incredibly blue eyes on the planet and I was beyond thrilled when I got a kiss on the cheek and he said 'you're a real sweetheart' !
